Then you should make Marigold Stable your place for getting instruction in fine horsemanship. For persons interested in showring competition of any level, Marigold has the following programs. Lessons are offered in the four disciplines of Dressage, Hunt Seat, Saddle Seat and Western. Students riding in the Dressage program have instruction available from training level to FEI level. Hunter seat students are instructed on the flat and over fences for pleasure and competition. Saddle seat instruction is available for equitation, country pleasure, english pleasure and park. Western riders are instructed in pleasure, reining, trail and showmanship.

For persons wishing to learn to ride for the pure pleasure of riding well - folks that are not interested in structured competition, Marigold offers the same instructions as above with added lessons in riding in trail groups and training for riding in traffic / trail situations.

Emphasis in both programs is placed on safety, horse psychology, ground / ring manners, stable management and proper rider and horse conditioning.

School horses are available and / or students who own a horse are welcome to bring their own horse to ride in lessons.
